1. What is the original tone/mood of the video?
The original tone of my video is a scary, suspenseful tone. The mood of the video makes you feel scared or confused as to what is going on and what may happen next. The tone is scary because the video is from a scary movie known as The Grudge and in the scene the character is being chased by the grudge. Because of the original music the scene feels very ominous and makes the viewer scared.
2. What song/sound did you choose to change the tone/mood of the video?
The song I chose was called Speedy Gonzales. The song is very upbeat and happy so it completely changes the very ominous mood of the video. Instead of feeling scared it makes you want to laugh because of how funny the song is. Also, because the song is displaying a running scene, it fits in well with the song because the character is running away from the monster.
3. How did it change the tone/mood of the video? Why did it have that effect?
The song made the video feel much less scary and kind of funny. Instead of wondering what is happening next or what is going on, you feel like laughing because of the effect that the song has on the video. The song had this effect because of the tone and mood of the song and because of the sounds and vocals of the song.
